So we recently went and met Landon’s parents in Edin, Oklahoma. Its about an hour away from Tulsa. We arrive and just barely say hi before Joey sends us girls on a wild goose chase for his favorite alcoholic beverage….Moscow Mule. Along with us searching for ginger beer that is apparently seasonal he also wants us to pick up beer, scotch and vodka.
We go to three different liquor stores before we decided it would be wise to, I don’t know maybe call a few places and ask if they have ginger beer. Pretty much every place we called said no, the one place we called that said yes, just happened to close 5 minutes ago. We gave up on the Moscow Mules and realized we had plenty of alcohol from around the globe.
Lets see we had:

Around the world via Alcohol
- Grey Goose La’ Pear from France
- Bella Sera Pinot Nior from Italy
- Oban 14 from Scotland (because they did not have Oban 18)
- Xingu Black Beer from Brazil
- Chimay Blue and Duvel from Belgium
- Sam Adams Cherry Wheat from Vermont
- Woodchuck Apple Cider from Washington
- Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat from Wisconsin
- Nigori Unfiltered Sake from Japan
- La Fin Du Monde from Canada
I’ll share a killer drink and some info on the beers.
Spiked Cider – Fill a tall glass with ice, a shot or two of the Grey Goose La’Pear and top off with Woodchuck Apple Cider OR Crispin.
Xingu Black Beer is a dark beer that drinks like a lager 4.70% ABV, Chimay Blue is a Trappist beer and its made by monks 9% ABV, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat taste like Froot Loops and Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat taste like Fruity Pebbles. La Fin Du Monde is French for “the end of the world”.
As you can imagine everyone got pretty hammered.
So here we are still in Tulsa, I think we decided on Miami as a destination to set up shop and knock some projects out.
Honestly, at this point I have no absolute idea what to expect of what is going to come next. Pretty much I’m a nomad that blogs in different cities across the United States about our randomness of a life.
There is no definition, no solid line to follow just connecting the dots along the way.
